i get a lot of ideas right before going to sleep, which for me is usually around 3 am.

i was at a point where i could barely sing, i actually lost my voice for almost a year. i was just starting to work on songs and was shutting down for the night and started playing 'dry the rain' by the beta band. i like the chord progression in that one. so i ripped off the b-a-e they use at the end and changed the rhythm quite a bit.

came up with the bass line 2 nights later and that really got this one going. and it's danceable.

everyone tells me this reminds them of Phish....
