After an incredible run in the Top 10 Most Requested at Evolving Artist, 'California' has been retired and is now in their Hall of Fame

It still will get airplay, but you cannot vote anymore. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who supported the song over the last 15 weeks. The song started at #6, never dropped below that and peaked for a few weeks at #3. It finished it's run this week at #4.

So I am writing and recording and tweaking and writing and recording and tweaking....

I always almost forget how crazy making a new album is. It's a ton of fun and a challenge and tedious and makes me want to rip my hair out...but it's what I do. So anyway, I have a batch of new songs. I started with a group of 15, some new some left over from 'Myself Again' sessions. Promptly wrote 10 new ones that were better and re-shuffled my list, and came up with another new one the other night. It's crazy.

For the first time I'm happy to say that I am co-writing with Josh on a couple songs. I have great hopes and expectations for this new batch of songs. I feel a few in particular are some of the best songs I've ever written. I will be posting up clips and full demos on the website as progress is made so you can sample what's coming!

Not many shows coming, getting ready for Syracuse and the music conference. Had a blast at P4 last night. Thanks to everyone who came out and saw us and all the new faces we hope to see more in the future.

We are travelling to Newport, RI this week for a big show at Newport Blues Cafe. I want to give special thanks to Olivia Smith @ Newport Mercury for doing an interview and running a feature on the band as well as Andrew Martin @ Newport This Week for also spolighting the bands show in this weeks issue.

The show begins around 9pm so come check us out. We have some new songs that are sneaking their way into the set and they are great! Hope to see you there.

3- Lots of upcoming shows including this Friday in NYC @ 169 Bar. We will be performing as an acoustic trio. Next Friday, Nov 23rd, we will be playing a hometown show @ Saratoga City Tavern so come on out and dance off your turkey and get rid of the 'black friday' shopping blues.

So as you know, the new album is being played on a lot of stations nationwide and in Canada. This is a great feeling for me, especially since a few stations locally have picked up the record. But radio can be so invisible, because I don't get to hear many of the stations, ok, most of the stations playing my songs.

On Friday, we played at Franklin's Tower in Albany. There was a guy who showed up mid set and was paying a lot of attention. On the break, he came up to me and bought the CD. He told me he heard my song on WEXT a few times and needed to know who it was. He searched their playlists and found my name, googled me and found out we were local. He told me that it was one of the few times he had heard a song and needed to find out who it was right away. He couldn't believe we were from the area because he thought we must be signed and huge, and came down to the show once he found out.

So--that was very very cool. Thanks a lot Paul!! Hope to see you soon.

Last Thursday I went to the studios of WEXT 97.7 and recorded an interview. I played a few songs and spoke with Chris Weinke about the new album, radio play and upcoming shows. The interview is due to air on November 16th and November 18th.

It was great to meet Chris and Dave Michaels from WEXT. They were very gracious and two of the nicest people I've ever met, and they have been supportive of my album and I'd like to take this chance to thank them.
